"Once again, we enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was in good condition Had everything we needed, towels and linens were pleantyful and clean. Pond was full of fish. and boats were super fun. The hot tub was relaxing.Thank you for renting your cabin to us."

"Dear Management Team, I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding my recent stay at your property from 6/6 to 6/8 (Account #1049128070). I was traveling under incredibly difficult circumstances to attend a family funeral, and the poor condition of your hotel only added unnecessary stress to an already trying time. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property due to several significant issues regarding safety, cleanliness, and service: Safety Hazards: I noticed that pieces of the ceiling directly above the pool area were visibly flaking and falling off. Lack of Cleanliness & Maintenance: There was active mold growing on my room's window sill. Furthermore, the in-room telephone clearly had not been cleaned in quite some time, as it was covered in debris. Noise Disruptions: The guest room doors are so heavily weighted that they slam violently every time someone enters or exits. This constant slamming made it impossible to get a peaceful night's rest or to sleep in. Poor Communication: The hours for the continental breakfast were changed without notice, causing unnecessary confusion and inconvenience in the morning. Given these sub-par conditions, I am requesting a partial refund for the nights spent at your establishment. I trust that you will take immediate steps to address these maintenance & housekeeping failures so future guests do not have the same experience. "Our innkeeper Joy was very pleasant. The Clubhouse room we had was a little musty, with no view, but the room was clean and the bed was very comfy. I booked it on Hotels.com. The mansion is beautiful inside, but the landscaping could use weeding and tree trimming. We had to leave very early at 6:30 am for a flight the next morning, but no grab n go breakfast like muffins or coffee was offered. Since other guests would get a full breakfast with their room, as long as they were there at 8:00 am, we felt a little cheated. Joy did not offer coffee even though she was awake when we left. I would recommend staying here, but get a room with a view and get your breakfast!"

"We got in very late so really just used the room to sleep for the night. The staff was very nice. The room was what we expected for the star rating and customer reviews. Not the greatest place but it was clean and in decent condition. For the cost it was fine. We were not expecting a large refrigerator in the room so that was a pleasant surprise. Regrettably the safe was locked and we could not use it but it wasn’t worth changing rooms at 0200. Can’t comment on the shower because we didn’t bother to use it but the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was OK with a minimal continental bill of fare but they did have waffles and biscuits and gravy. Hotels.com claimed this was a three (3) star hotel but I would say 2.5. But for 2.5 it was better than expected. I was worried about some of the complaints I saw in other reviews but we didn’t experience any of them."
