"This is an absolute haven of tranquility and you don’t expect a lodge like that while driving down the East coast of Raiatea. The garden is stunning and you can read about all the plants. By the small beach is a lily pond and the hillside is a jungle of the most amazing vegetation. I was greeted very warmly and shown around, there is a beautiful communal area with a kitchen that is fully stocked and then you have little spaces in and outside of the fridge for the things you buy for yourself....

There was a cat which was very friendly, but that should also be listed so folks know in case they are allergic. "This place is amazing. They welcomed us and checked us in quickly. We had a garden view room across the street of their main property. We had the best of both worlds with a more foilage view from our back patio and a quick few steps across the street to the pool, beach among other amenities. Great servuce. Large room. Large bathroom. Dock right at the beach for water excursion pickup and drop off. Right near Matira beach (about 10 minute walk) and close to a few great restaurants and the Tiare market. We will definitely be back. "
