"This sea side vacation home is perfect for togetherness with some personal space. Elegantly decorated yet comfortable with all high end finishes and linens. Easily accessible to Oranmore, Galway, and the Shannon airport. Our host made accommodations for our early arrival as well. Huge thanks and recommend. "

"The laundry room was dirty. There were no instructions for using the stove, oven, water heater. No coffee maker and the kettle was corroded. The downstairs bathroom smelled awful. The beds were very uncomfortable. We tried to get an Uber but they refused to come to this address. The advertising of this house gave false expectations. The owners left a message that they needed to send an electrician to fix the dining area light. No one ever came so we had no light. "

"We stayed for two nights and had a lovely, peaceful time. The food was delicious, prepared by Joyce, and we got a ton of advice and insight about the area and Ireland in general from Aidan. They were very friendly and welcoming, and the house and grounds are gorgeous and steeped in Irish history. If we ever come back to Tuam, we'd happily stay again!"

"Plenty of room for multiple couples in an extended family with spacious living areas and a very large, well equip working kitchen, with an eating area. A superb host who was wonderfully accommodating and helpful with all family needs (including late night medical advice and facilitation for a 90 year old great-grandmother in need of care.)."

"First, the lake view is nowhere to be seen from the cottage. Further, the wi-fi never worked, and the UK to US electricity converter was fried. Aside from that, the cottage was clean and comfortable, in a bird-filled, idyllic environment."

"Just enjoyed a lovely peaceful week in our Inisfree Carriage House. The scenery on the Estate stunning especially seeing the Connemara ponies a short walk away. We felt totally relaxed and at home. We had a lovely welcome on arrival from Finula and John. The day before we were going home we were lucky to have a tour of the Manor House from John who was so knowledgeable about it. We came home with very special memories."

The property itself is gorgeous and very well kept with all of the amenities we needed. The kitchen is superbly laid out and easy to use. The bedrooms are plenty big enough and very comfortable. "Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and very tasty. Hotel room was clean, good amount of space and the bathroom was of a good size for a family. The Swimming Pool being attached to it is a godsend and it was great to get in there. It's busier in the evening than the morning, but theres a lifeguard and things for the kids to use in there as well. There's also a kids playroom that is manned in the evening with all sorts of things for all ages. The bar, restaurant and coffee rooms looked clean with plenty of offering but we didn't frequent them in the evening. Friendly, helpful staff all over the hotel. Highly recommended for a stay in Galway, and if we return in the future, will definitely stay here again. 15 minutes to the racecourse, even with festival traffic was a huge bonus "

"It was a beautiful setting it had fantastic potential but here’s a list of the faults. Self check in system (room door unlocked key in room) another guest had checked into room we had booked. The room had a different number on the door to what it was (there was a number one on the door frame number 2 on the door) We had booked a ensuite bathroom but on the first night only had access to a shared bathroom with no hot water, no toilet paper (had to search the house to find it), blocked sink. Sent message to manager, no response until the next morning. Guest who was in our allocated room moved out the next morning, so we moved into our allocated room as the ensuite bathroom had hot water, it was dirty, we had to find fresh linen and clean up as best we could. No gas for cooking. Air fryer had wrong plug so couldn’t use. The property was quite difficult to find, no signs on the gate."
