This is our 2nd stay this year and we WILL return in the future. The house is the perfect place for a quiet get away. The area is so peaceful and quiet. It’s nice sitting on the back porch, laying in the hammock or sitting on the swing, listening to the water. Just so relaxing. Sunrises are amazing this time of year. House is as it is pictured. House has everything you need for that break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Kevin was an awesome host -very responsive and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

What a truly great place to get away from the city! We loved how it had its own private beach, and slept so peacefully to the crashing waves. The two-story cabin was quite cozy and had everything we needed. The swing, hammock, and fire pit are all nice touches that we mostly made the most of (county fire ban). Kitchen lights that dim set the mood for dinner. Host Kevin responded promptly to messages. Highly recommend! We would just caution entering the lake as we found broken glass and metal debris that had washed up.

Sister trip

If you are looking for a place of peace/quiet and just to recharge your battery - this place is perfect! It sits just off the lake and the private little beach in front is perfect. We enjoy the morning on the deck watching the sunrise, birds, drinking coffee and visiting. Property is under new ownership but nothing has changed from previous owner - Kevin was a great host and the house is perfect. My sister and I have stayed here before and will definitely stay again.

50 Yrs marriage celebration by visiting family, states, activities & events!

Thoroughly enjoyed the cozy & cute home w/its beautiful views of the lake. Magnificent sunsets and fun watching cardinal family & squirrels sharing the tree, LOTs of wonderful shops & restaurants around the area, particularly enjoyed Huntsville and the oldest functioning restaurant in the state 'Cafe Texan'.

Family Lake Get Away

This was our second stay at this location. Its so peaceful. The neighbors are quiet and respectful. The water was warm but very calm and my children enjoyed the peddle boats and kayaks. The lake house had everything we needed. We love it here and will be back again.
