The rope swing was awesome. Our boys were swinging constantly. I would recommend bringing some blister tape, to wrap their hands and prevent blisters. My only real complaints would be that the cabin was in real need of a deep clean and the neighborhood dogs were a little concerning, but overall you can't beat the river. . . ##### ally m. The location along the water was so peaceful and we loved that there were so many outdoor places to hangout. We also booked a kayaking trip through the owners. It was perfect! They picked us up from the cabin, drove us to the drop off point, and we paddled 6 miles back to it. The biggest downside to our stay was that the grill was not functioning. The bottom had rusted out and so it would not get hot enough to grill which threw off our meal plans. Only other issues were very limited pantry items, no ziplocks, tin foil, etc. and the outdoor furniture could do with some cleaning. ##### Rebecca M. The rope swing was a favorite of our teenage boys. We rented kayaks from the property owners and that was great. We were picked up at the shanty and able to get off the river there too.
