Parked in the car park at the back and the feeling wasn't great. Park full of rubbish, the doors to get into the property were damaged and didn't close properly, making the property feel very unsafe and the carpets filthy. Go up to the flat, where I was presented with a dirty and messy flat, all the lights on and windows fully open. With it being ground-floor, anyone could have easily got into the unit. Broadly a comfortable stay with some issues. The appartment was nice, clean, and had the amenities I had hoped for. I had some issues with my stay: having to provide proof of ID, a deposit, and an online check in process was all frustrating. Myself and another visitor got locked out for 40 minutes because the front lock wouldnt open and with no staff on site the help desk had to ring another customer to come let us into the building. Even though its a kitchen there is very little cooking equipment there, and no basic cooking needs (like oil or salt). Positives: The apartment feels new, was very clean, and had all the essentials we needed. Parking in the rear car park was very convenient, and the location is good — within easy walking distance of shops, bars, and restaurants. Negatives: The apartment was very hot and there was no fan. I emailed on arrival and was told one would be provided, but it wasn’t. After chasing again, I was told if it wasn’t already in the flat, one wouldn’t be supplied. This miscommunication was frustrating — we would’ve bought one had we known. We struggled to sleep until the weather cooled. The boiler stopped working the morning of our event, leaving us with no hot water. We were told someone wouldn’t attend until later in the day, so we had to try fixing it ourselves — too late to shower before leaving. WiFi dropped out regularly during the day, often showing a password error before disconnecting. This happened multiple times during meetings, which was really disruptive as I’d flagged the need for strong WiFi when booking. I had to hotspot from my phone. We couldn’t find the parking as it wasnt clearly marked and we drove around 3 times. The customer service helped me well but it was a delay in 30 or so minutes to access our two units. The place wasn't cleaned on a certain schedule which is challenging and then you run out of garback bags and toilet paper. It's a great spot for business, and closeness to things like grocery and pubs. I'll stay again for sure. The boiler was not working properly- the temperature inside the apartment was 9.5 degrees initially so had to phone again. Discovered that the boiler fuse had tripped so managed to reach a temperature of 17 degrees by the evening. tripped again overnight so woke to no hot water. The stay was immediately jaded by, what must of been a Wish of Temu door lock of which required a locksmith for me to get in, which was past midnight, not ideal after driving over 4h to get there. Then the morning was horrendous only to find out there was no hot water for a shower. The room looked nice, but these issues are unforgivable.
