Dogs are allowed year round on the beach! Super warm and cozy year round home! Basketball/Tennis/Pickleball Court for use during stay. Very close to downtown historic Plymouth Center, local wedding venues, and many great golf courses. The low-traffic neighborhood is great for kids and families! We LOVE sharing the beauty of our area and home with Guests!

The Space:
Relax on your private beach at Captain's Cottage. Enjoy our beach chairs, entertaining essentials, grille, fire pit, back patio, fully fenced in back yard, dishwasher, washer/dryer, cable TV, Internet, outdoor shower with hot water during your stay( seasonal)!! Linens and towels for the house, provided. Enjoy our Beachy decorated living spaces, fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer in unit, and awesome entertainment options in Plymouth! Smart TV with cable, and many apps! We also provide complimentary high speed Wi-Fi for guests to use throughout their stay and have had many guests work from home here with ease!

Guest Access:
Guests have complete access to our home, yard and the Priscilla Beach Association amenities during their stay.
In addition to the indoor amenities, guests can also take advantage of our expansive yard, perfect for enjoying the sunny weather and fresh air. Guests have access to our private beach, where you can swim, sunbathe, and enjoy the stunning views of Cape Cod Bay!

The Neighborhood:
Growing up in Priscilla Beach (PB) was an amazing experience! Building sandcastles with my grandparents, taking a dip in crystal clear water on a hot day, spending time with our extended beach family and developing a passion for coastal landscapes. PB is truly an oasis of salty breezes, sandy feet and family. We enjoy meeting new people and sharing our family's love for this home and location. We love living in PB!

Getting Around:
We are located ~5 miles to downtown Plymouth and 4 miles from Pinehills Golf Course/ Mirabeau Inn and Spa wedding/ golf venues. Our home is ~7.5miles from the Commuter Rail into Boston. We are ~5miles from the Plymouth to Provincetown Ferry out of Plymouth Harbor. Ideal location for the Beach and enjoying local amenities in a quiet, friendly neighborhood.

Other Things to Note:
Parking for 4-5 cars in the driveway, no street or green space parking. Approval of Rental agreement at time of booking and driver's license or passport required. Reservation accepted/ rates set based on group size at time of booking. Additional guests staying/ visiting must be pre-approved, additional cost paid and names outlined on rental agreement. House sleeps 6 adults and additional 1 guest is infant with brought along travel crib. Pet fee $250 per dog max of 3 dogs, ESA's required to pay pet fee. Cats and other animals cannot be accepted due to severe allergies and zoning bylaws. Exterior only security cameras on the front and back yards for security of property and insurance purposes.

Quaint Plymouth Stay

The property is clean and has a fully stocked kitchen. Excellent location to the beach and downtown Plymouth. My only recommendation is to add some bathroom hooks. It was difficult to hang towels with 6 of us in 1 bathroom. Definitely recommend this property.

Great House

We stayed for a weekend in May. The host was responsive and accessible to any messages sent. There were clear instructions for the home left out as well as a list of recommend restaurants and activities nearby. Home was well furnished and stocked. We enjoyed the yard space, fenced in yard, and short walk to the beach. We had a great experience and the host, Colleen, was a delight to communicate with. Highly recommend this property if visiting Plymouth area.

Great Stay at the Captain's Cottage

We had a great stay at the Captain's Cottage. Colleen, was a wonderful host. She was quick to respond to our phone calls and messages. The house came as advertised and despite it being November, the weather was sunny and warm. We had no issues during or stay at Priscilla Beach and highly recommend the Captain's Cottage.

Girls vacation with our pups

Our house and host were awesome! The backyard was great for our pups to hang out in. We had great weather. Hated to come home! The on line pictures were on point to everything! The neighborhood and homes were absolutely gorgeous! Very pleasant for strolls in the neighborhood. Residents were super friendly! Would definitely come back. Plymouth was a great little town to stroll, eat and shop. Thanks so much to Colleen for making everything effortless and for our welcoming gifts!

Friends getaway

First time to the Plymouth area and Priscilla Beach. We had a wonderful short stay at the Captain's Cottage! Wish it had been longer. Cottage was very clean, updated and just as described. Being able to bring my dog and have a fenced in yard was a huge plus. The landscaping and plantings were lovely in the yard making you feel at home. The cottage is set in a pretty and friendly beach community. We thoroughly enjoyed our walks around the neighborhood and on the beach which is just a short walk away. We saw many dogs, lots of bunnies and a young male deer walking across the front yard. Bring your sneakers or water shoes as there are rocks on sections of the beach at low tide. Colleen was very responsive to any questions I had and provided many details, pamphlets and guides for our stay which we truly appreciated! Looking forward to another stay in the future.

A Cozy Haven by the Beach: A Review of Colleen's Charming Home

Nestled in a serene neighborhood, Colleen's home exudes comfort and charm from every corner. Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the immaculate cleanliness of the house. Every room was meticulously prepared, inviting relaxation and tranquility. One of the highlights of Colleen's property is the fenced-in yard, providing a sense of privacy and security. The addition of a grill and firepit elevated the outdoor experience, offering the perfect setting for al fresco dining or cozy evenings under the stars. The proximity to the beach was another standout feature. Just a short stroll away, the sandy shores beckoned with promises of sun-soaked relaxation and refreshing dips in the ocean. Being able to easily access the beach added an extra layer of convenience and enjoyment to our stay. Our experience at Colleen's home was nothing short of exceptional. Second Stay :)

This is the second time my daughter and I stayed at Captain's Cottage. Colleen is the best host by far! Her home is beautiful and she is quick to respond to any questions that we may have. We love her home. It is clean, within walking distance to the beach and very close to some amazing restaurants. The treats for us (and our pups) are a bonus. Such a pretty yard- comfortable house.

The house was very clean and as described. It has an enclosed back yard with a concrete patio with table and chairs which was a very nice place to unwind from the day's activities. The outside shower is super. The beds were comfortable and the washer and dryer were very to keep up on towels and rinse and dry bathing suits. The walk to the beach is 5mins at most. Priscilla Beach is a real local beach with many groups of friends that meet regularly. We were with local family and felt right at home. The water is clear- beach shoes are handy for the pebbles and stones. I love the area and we had a great visit.

Great little house so close to the beach.

The house is very clean and comfortable. Nice fenced backyard for the dog. The location is great if you don't mind a short walk to the beach (I did not mind the extra exercise). Colleen provides a lot of information about the area and is available to answer any questions. We will be back!

Very cute and small. Quick response, nice quiet neighborhood. Kitchen has just about what you need too. Only 4 stars because it was cold and despite being told we could turn the heat to 72 every day some times multiple times a day it was turned down on us. And the having to pay for a visitor rule I didn’t like. All in all good place and nice host

Nice for a quick stay

House was clean and close to the beach and downtown Plymouth. Only complaint was the smaller bedroom had a rickety bed. Also, just to clarify for other pet owners there is a $250. Pet fee for 1 dog. You will be charged an additional $75. per pet (total of $325. for 2 dogs). We appreciated the fenced it yard for our dogs though.

We stayed in Plymouth for a week in November and enjoyed every bit of our stay. Communication with the owner was easy and prompt, the property was beautiful. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our pups. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect Plymouth Retreat

Colleen was easy to communicate with even before we booked our trip, as we had questions about bringing our dog. She was also available instantly as we arrived and had a minor issue with the door lock and we were in the home within minutes. The home was exactly as pictured and immaculate. Although we ate out while vacationing, the home had anything one would need to prepare meals while in Plymouth. Colleen provided excellent local restaurant recommendations as well. The home, including the sleep space, was comfortable and the shower was both hot and powerful. We were also grateful for a beautiful and cozy fenced in backyard, as was our dog. The location is ideal as it was a quick walk to the beach, a short drive to downtown Plymouth, and gave us easy access for a day driving out to Cape Cod. We hope to return someday!
