Breakfast was a very tasty typical Bulgarian breakfast served to your table. The most spectacular stay ever. At arrival, we were met at the door by name. At check-in the owner, unsolicited, pulled out a map and showed us great sites to see, great restaurants to try, and the best routes to get there navigating the cobblestone streets in the dark. The whole building is exquisitely restored and painted in historical and traditional design. The room was very clean and fitted with mint condition antique furnishings. The bathroom was the only thing modern and it was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was homemade Bulgarian and was the best we had in our visit to the country. I cannot say enough. Nice and clean room and perfect location with walking distance to the old city and to the pedestrian zone. The host is super nice, helpful and made a great breakfast for us. The owner (Dimitar) is extremely helpful and friendly, and speaks near-perfect English (he lived in the US). There is a parking right in front of the hotel, which is a plus near the old town.
