Summary:
Marina Cove 605 in Flamingo is a recently remodeled 2-bedroom, 2-bath, air-conditioned condo facing Potrero Bay, a stone’s throw from the beach. The bedrooms have a king-size bed and a queen-twin bunk bed. There’s a fully equipped kitchen with stainless-steel appliances. Ceiling fans keep the air moving, and there’s a patio with a beautiful view.

The Space:
The comfortably furnished living room contains a blue sectional sofa, TV and tropical art. Glass doors look out on a ground-floor terrace, coconut palms and a gorgeous view of blue ocean and green mountains.

This unit is a short walk from good restaurants, shops and the beaches of Potrero and Flamingo. Be advised that this property does not come with a designated parking spot. Vehicles may be able to park on the parking of the complex, depending on availability and building management instructions, or they may need to be parked on the street.

The Neighborhood:
Flamingo is a high-end beachfront community notable for its dazzling ocean views and the beautiful, hilly peninsula that juts out into the Pacific, separating Playa Potrero from Playa Flamingo.
Flamingo is home to a wide array of stunning homes and vacation rentals, as well as humbler lodging options, and it has restaurants, grocery stores, banks and other conveniences.
A brand-new, state-of-the-art marina opened to the public in 2022, with slips for yachts and fishing boats, condos for rent and all kinds of shops and restaurants. Other major developments here include the 360 Splendor del Pacifico luxury condominiums on top of the North Ridge, the Margaritaville Beach Resort, and the upscale Mar Vista housing development, where there’s an excellent private school called La Paz.
Good restaurants in town include the Coco Loco, a beachfront eatery known for its coconut drinks and standout cuisine; Marie’s, a reliable standard with a long and enticing menu; Angelina’s, featuring fine Italian dining in an elegant environment; and several options at the Margaritaville, including the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill.
Flamingo was largely developed by foreigners, and it lacks the traditional Costa Rican downtown with a soccer field plaza, church and school. The heart of town is an upscale commercial plaza with stone steps, fountains, restaurants and shops. Farther away on the road to Brasilito, you’ll find smaller restaurants, hotels, banks, hardware stores and the Super Massai grocery store.
Flamingo is more or less the centerpiece of a beautiful coastline stretching from the Reserva Conchal resort in the south to the Las Catalinas resort in the north, with the more traditional Costa Rican towns of Brasilito and Potrero in between. Flamingo is within easy striking distance of several beaches, including Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Penca, Prieta, Pan de Azucar and Danta.

Getting Around:
Our agents will be happy to assist you with renting a car, giving you the freedom to explore the area where you want, when you want. For short drives to nearby towns or beaches, golf carts are another popular mode of transportation. You can also rent a bicycle to ride around in town or beyond.

We can arrange transfers to and from the airport. Rental cars can also be delivered to your property at no additional cost, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery as our private van drives you here from the airport.

Taxis are available but can be a bit hard to find. Many locals use buses to get around, though there are a limited number of routes and times of day when you can catch them. Private shuttles can be a great option for traveling to nearby destinations, and many tour companies offer transportation to and from the tour. Our information brochure will provide you with useful information on local transportation options and points of interest, as well as contact information for taxis and shuttles.

This place is a 30 second walk to the beach. Awesome views. The beach is a small quiet place not a super busy tourist spot. Probably the best place to stay in Playa Flamingo.

Secret Hideway
Property is safe and a hidden oasis. The unit and grounds are extremely well maintained. Our first impression with the property managers, especially Allison, was amazing. She delivered us a coffee maker on her motorcycle in 10 minutes after we sent an email. Beach is tranquil and relaxing, We are coming back!

The condo is beautiful. Everything you need to enjoy your stay. Check in and out was easy. Only 1 suggestion would be to install curtains on the front wall windows. The condo is ground floor and their is no privacy in the living room/kitchen.

Great accommodations. Very new and up to date. Excellent kitchen. Beach not the greatest due to rocks but is within a few meters of the back door. Playa Flamingo Beach is a short drive or within walking distance and is much better.

Beautiful condo, wonderful location, and fabulous people!
From the moment we walked in, to the moment we locked the door behind us, we had a terrific stay. There was a minor issue with one of the A/C units but the management staff took care of the problem quickly with no fuss. The beds were hard for us because we sleep on memory foam/air at home, but we made some adjustments and slept well. Long, long drive from San Jose airport, highly recommend that you fly into Liberia if you come to this part of Costa Rica, we lost a full day of vacation driving back and forth to the airport. The business aspects, payments, deposits, etc. were flawless and we highly recommend this property. Of minor note, we did have to buy salt but the kitchen was very well equipped otherwise (I guess it is common for condiments to disappear... some people...)! They came and cleaned 1/2 way through our stay and I did not expect that. Alonso (and all the staff) at Special Places of Costa Rice bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Amazing!
Beautiful property in a great location. 24 hour security on the grounds that is actually stationed right outside this condo. Nice private beach, pool with a great view and quiet grounds. Condo was very modern and recently remodeled. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had all the features of home. I highly recommend this condo and highly recommend this area of Costa Rica!
