"The grounds were well kept. The room was large and clean. The food was delicious, and they asked about food allergies at every meal which is really thoughtful. The resort wasn't overcrowded at all so there was always space to eat, and we never had to wait to be seated. Carlos and Hugo were awesome servers! All staff and employees were friendly and helpful. There are a couple pools, access to the beach, and a few other places to relax in the sun. The pool bar did get a little backed up at times but nothing more than a couple minutes wait. "Rui Palace was one the best all inclusive resorts that I have stayed at in Playa Del Carmen. The resort is located in a gated residential neighborhood. The grounds and property are immaculate. The pools were easily accessible and the beach was in close proximity. There are plenty of dining options. Our room was cleaned daily and to our surprise we received a towel animal each day also. We took a trip to celebrate my birthday. The evening of my actual birthday, our room was decorated with balloons, birthday towel people and a cake. All compliments of the hotel. Rui Palace deserves a 10/10 for both resort and staff. "
