Bout St. Maurice is a ski town in the winter and a hiking/ biking town in the summer.My wife says this is one of the best areas we have ever seen and thinks the motel is the best as well. "I found this property to be lovely spot to stay with lovely design and very convenient. The food was okay, not great for the cost with breakfast buffet being mostly cold (as in eggs, bacon, pancakes). "The room was comfortable and had all the amenities needed to relax after a day skiing. The sofa bed was comfortable and easy to get out and put away. The bathroom was basic, but provided a lovely warm shower and the hotel spa facilities were good, although the outdoor pool could have been a bit warmer. The village has some great restaurants and bars, if a little light on entertainment spaces, but a short lift ride up to 2000 provided more of this if needed. It was also great to visit some of the on-piste bars and restaurants for some mid ski refreshment. "

"Our stay at Hôtel Taj-I Mah was absolute perfection. What truly set this property apart was the seamless balance between a high-end, luxury experience and a genuinely warm, approachable atmosphere. The staff's attention to detail was amazing, and we felt incredibly well-cared for from the moment we arrived. The little touches made all the difference, from the lovely nightly turndown service to the thoughtful chocolates left on the pillow. We were also impressed by how well they catered to gluten-free options, making dining both stress-free and delicious. A special shout-out must go to the ski room staff, who were fantastic and made the daily transition to the slopes effortless. If you are looking for a hotel that offers top-tier service while remaining comfortable and welcoming, this is the place to stay."

"Lovely chalet, well maintained and ideal for families looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. The chalet is well maintained with modern amenities and the owners are helpful and in contact. One thing to note is that the Hamlet in which the chalet is based is in a fairly remote spot, so a car rental is highly advisable (taxis are very expensive in the area). Enjoy your stay!"
