(125 reviews) The 2 bedroom oceanfront villa itself was excellent except very poor water pressure in the showers. Bring pods for clothes and dish washer. The pools are unusable. IDK if that is algae covering the bottoms or weird dark paint job. No one used them. Mosquitoes are a significant issue throughout island. We found the Yachtsman restaurant disappointing and overpriced ($5 US for a carafe of tap water!). Bananas, the Drift, and the Brewery restaurants were all excellent. Seriously consider renting a car if you’re staying more than a few days. A areia estava maculada com muitas algas mas fui informado que parte das algas são deixadas na praia pois fazem parte de um micro ecossistema. Atrás da praia existe uma lagoa que à época exalava um cheiro forte de mangue. Cockleshell Bay is a bay of clean water and calm sea. The beach is good for kids. At the time I visited it, the infrastructure was small, with only one bar and one restaurant. The sand was contaminated with many algae, but I was informed that some of the algae are left on the beach because they are part of a micro ecosystem.
