"Lovely old inn within minutes' walk of the town pubs and eateries. Be aware though, the shortest route is via the steep steps aptly called 'Jacob's ladder' across the road. Hotel staff were very friendly, incredibly friendly towards the dogs making it the perfect place to stay. Clean, comfortable and a good breakfast. Will stay again."

Trelissick Garden National Trust was also a good place to visit, especially if you are National trust members, the gardens there are beautiful. "

"The cottage was lovely. It had no Wi-Fi or 4g signal so planning the next days agenda was impossible until you drove out of the site. Also apart from the on site bar (the staff were wonderful) there was no where to walk easily to get something to eat. "

"We enjoyed a two night stay there recently. We had the room with an outing seating area which definitely made it more spacious and as the weather was reasonably good we sat outside quite a bit. The swimming pool was a brilliant experience and all in all we had a great time. "We stayed in a basic room, which would benefited from updating / refurbishment. There were areas i.e. the corridors. Restaurant and bar food was only available from 6:30 pm, which was a little inconvenient as we had traveled to the hotel from Cheshire and had booked to attend the theatre in the university. The staff provided an excellent service friendly, approachable and helpful."

"Room was beautiful, clean and had small kitchen area in room with tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, toaster and microwave. Bathroom had hand soap and shower gel provided and was modern and clean. There was a beautiful large communal kitchen if anyone wanted to cook, we didn’t use it but it had all appliances and large table. There was off road parking and the property was opposite a beautiful park. It was also a short walk to the town. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"Staff could not have been more professional and helpful, a real credit to the property. Well located close to Falmouth, plenty of parking. The room was lovely, plenty of storage and the bed comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were poor and not sufficient. Breakfast selection was excellent, and the food was amazing! The poached eggs were magnificent! Speed of service was slow but being out of season that is understandable. Less understandable are the massive cobwebs in the dining room. The lounge was comfortable, and the real fire added to the atmosphere; very welcome after a long day outside. The pool is an added bonus, but none of the underwater lights were working. Neither were any of the sauna lights were working which can be dangerous. "
