Surrounded by greenery and with tons of light coming through, this home provides a wonderful environment for relaxation. Your cabana is equipped with a kitchenette that includes a refrigerator, freezer, blender, juicer, microwave, electric stove, toaster oven, and coffee maker to make snacks or meals. For a change of pace, try the common BBQ area with picnic seating and sear something on the grill. Stretch out in the hammock with a good book, sit down to eat your lunch alfresco, and curl up each evening to scroll through the offerings on the smart TV. This cabana is located in Surfside, a relaxing area of the Placencia Peninsula near the beach and the Caribbean Sea. Surfside has a variety of great restaurants, as well as a supermarket, a spa, bowling lanes, and a scuba center within a short drive. You can even enjoy some friendly competition on the mini-golf course a short walk away. THINGS TO KNOW No on-site pool available, however, most resorts in Maya Beach will offer pool access if food or drinks are purchased. The nearest resort with these facilities is a 5-minute walk away. AC is available in the bedrooms only. There are stairs to reach the house and ladder steps to get to the living space on the mezzanine level. Laundry service is available for a cost. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 18 years of age to book. Beautiful treetop oasis with everything you need- relaxing screened-in porch with hammock and a setting for our daily serene breakfasts, comfortable beds, kitchenette with a full-size fridge, and easy access to everything Placencia has to offer. The hosts are very helpful with tips or any questions while still giving their guests ultimate privacy in a beautiful natural setting. We visited during the pandemic and not only is this a gold standard approved hotel but the facilities were following all protocols and we felt very safe staying here.
