Plenty of room to relax and unwind while enjoying nature. Deer, turkey, birds and squirrels abound! I feed them all, so you will most certainly see them all during your visit. The cottage is less than 10 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh (park and ride and bus is within walking distance) and the Pittsburgh Int'l airport is only 15 minutes away. It has 1 private bedroom with private half bath, loft with daybed and trundle. One covered deck overlooks the local town of Carnegie and the 2nd covered porch is along the private road. The fireplace in the living room is sure to set the mood for a relaxing evening. Weather permitting, you can enjoy the outdoor firepit! The local park (which is also a dog park) is within walking distance. It's the perfect place to stay and feel like you are at home while you are visiting our beautiful City of Pittsburgh! \*\*\*\* In lieu of chargning a pet fee, I have a pet donation program in place at the cottage. Bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. The driveway was the only bad thing. It's tough to get out of. We stayed so we could move a family member into her dorm room which is a 5 hour drive from home, and we were able to bring the dog which was very nice. The yard was big enough with a tie down for my big hound dog to enjoy sniffing around. The place was clean and there was plenty of space for everyone. I will be staying here any time I come to visit my cousin at the University of Pittsburgh which was about a 15-20 drive from here. ##### Traci S. Fit our needs for bringing in our daughter to college in Pittsburgh. Host was extremely helpful and responsive to our questions and the check-in process was very smooth. ##### Ed B. It was clean, and kitchen well stocked, etc. But it was a bit more run down than we had expected. The stairs were very unlevel, and the house had a very musty/mildewy smell. It wasn't horrible but definitely took away from the experience a bit. Also, beware of the parking, it was difficult the first couple days until we figured out a good process for it, but the smaller the vehicle, the better off you will be. ##### Kylie D. We came days after a severe storm blew through Pittsburgh and unfortunately power outages everywhere. The host Laura was extremely helpful throughout our stay.
