Located in the heart of the oldest part of the city, the "Il Glicine" apartment is a comfortable and spacious four-room apartment, located on the third and top floor of a building dating back to 1100 and renovated in 2015\. The apartment, in the center, is a step away from Piazza del Duomo where the main buildings of the city are concentrated: the town, the court, the baptistery and the cathedral, all dating back to 1300. There are numerous places to meet in company and participate in the "nightlife" that attracts more and more people from nearby cities. In just ten minutes on foot you are at the station and you can get to the Terme di Montecatini in less than twenty minutes, in half an hour to Florence or Lucca and in less than an hour to the sea! It is central and in the heart of Pistoia overlooking two squares that buzz with activity from people coming into the town for Supper or just for a drink. It is an excellent base for exploring the cities of Florence, Pisa, Lucca and within driving distance of Siena. Although there is no parking with the apartment Gabriella provided us with a parking permit to enter and park our car very close by. Pistoia is a lovely town and not frequented by many tourists, but it has some excellent buildings and has a market twice a week that is fun to explore. Gabriella's apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we required for our stay - she even provided fresh fruit, milk, butter and bread and even a bottle of fizz. I would highly recommend her apartment to anyone thinking of visiting this part of Tuscany. Thank you Gabriella for letting us stay there. ##### Kate W. It had the comfort of your own home and was very clean and well equipped. We also loved it's central location, right in the heart of the historical center of Pistoia. With the daily fruit and vegetable market, restaurants, museums, shops and trainstation on walking distance. Therefore it was also a good location for trips outside Pistoia. Gabriella was a great host, she was so kind to collect us from the train station. And welcomed us with a basket with fresh fruit and a bottle of Prosecco.
