We offer self check-in and you will not have to interact with anyone. You will have your own space. We are available to help with any questions via phone or email as needed. We live nearby so can come if ever needed. But we do our best to give guests their privacy. Silver Fern is located on a 35 acre parcel of land owned by Roamly Getaways. This property has been purpose built to provide you with an amazing experience. There are two other Airstream is on the property which are also available for rent. (Royal Fern Airstream & Creekside Fern Airstream) . Each Airstream has its own private deck and private hot tub! The Airstreams are strategically situated to provide privacy, but are only a couple hundred feet apart. THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO!!! \-“The Land Of Waterfalls!” \-The area around Brevard NC is home to 200+ waterfalls! \-World class destination for mountain biking, road cycling, hiking, rock climbing, fly fishing, and white water paddling. \-Restaurants, coffee shops, breweries & stores: 5-10 min \-Downtown Asheville: 40-45min \-Pisgah National Forest: 7 min \-Dupont State Forest: 15min \-Direct river access from property for canoeing, tubing, fishing. Other put-ins are only a couple miles upstream & downstream. \-Blue Ridge Parkway: 30min You will have the entire Airstream and deck to yourself! Each guest gets a new door code, so rest assured you will not have the same door code as the last person. Silver Fern is located on a private 35 Acres owned by Roamly Getaways. The land adjoins the French Broad River and goes up to the mountain ridge. There are currently two other Airstreams on the property. The other Airstream is nearby. So while the parcel is 35 acres, the 2 Airstreams share the lower couple acres of land. You are welcome to explore the 35 acres and hike up our roads. With the hot tub, luxury linens, & covered deck you may never want to leave. You will love hanging out around the fire pit at night under the cafe lights or taking a walk down by the river to watch a sunset and do a little stargazing. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the essentials including a mini fridge/freezer, oven, induction cooktop, microwave, coffee pot and espresso latte maker! But if you aren’t in the mood to cook, fear not, there are lots of restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, & bakeries to choose from within a 10 minute drive. And many places are available for delivery. If there’s an air mattress you will not be able to walk to bathroom at night. Send us a message to book any extra guests. The Airstream has enough dishes for 4 people. Please look at pictures closely to be sure this is a fit for you. MORNING LIGHT - All of the main level windows have some sort of blinds or privacy provided. However, the upper roof windows in the living room do not have blinds. No one can see in, but you might have a little morning light or moon light through those windows. SAFETY - The Silver Fern Airstream is equipped with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguisher, and emergency exits. No detail was forgotten during the renovation of this Airstream and no corners were cut. The robes, heated bathroom floors, water pitcher and snacks were some of my favorites. Even the sound machine was top quality. Hot tub was clean and warm. Realizing the more honest reviews will cause 'my' new getaway much harder to get open dates for...but here goes...This place felt like a hug from the moment i opened the door. We were looking for a place not too far from home (just over an hour) where we could get away for a brief time, hike, while still working remotely. This is that place. WI-FI is great, cell service is great! There is no luxury left out. From the outdoor living space, where the lighting is soft to bright depending on your preference to an easy open hot tub, a solo fire pit (for the most part smokeless) to the meandering, but not steep steps...everything you could Ever want. Inside, heated bath floors, wonderfully comfortable bed, soft up lighting & downlighting throughout, dimmers on all fixtures, solid flooring underneath your feet, great workstation/eating bar, the tile work is amazing with all finishes surpassing any expectations...absolutely Nothing left out! The craftsmanship is incredible!! Done for the love of their craft and not for the love of money. As builders, we've never seen this quality to detail in any vrbo or abnb. So, go get your hug...my fur baby and i hiked late morning/afternoon, worked inbetween...so refreshing...can't wait to be back! Property Manager was super helpful and thought of everything! The pictures don’t do it justice, it turned out better than expected. That’s just what you can see in the pictures, once inside you’ll realize that EVERYTHING was carefully designed, we had all we needed including espresso (watch the youtube video to use it). The outdoor grill, fire pit and jacuzzi were my favorite, the solo stove lights in minutes especially with the supplies provided by the owner. Jacuzzi was ready to go, has a featherlight lifting system that anyone can use and was incredibly clean. We meant to find a smaller place bc we expected to hike as many trails as possible but found ourselves torn between staying at our lil airstream compound or going hiking.
