However, I feel it’s important to warn future guests about the environment surrounding this rental.While the house itself is lovely and in a nice area, it’s located in an extremely strict HOA community. I grew up in Brevard and booked this stay to celebrate my mom’s and my birthdays while visiting family we don’t often see.The listing notes a maximum of six guests, which we respected. However, when my brother and his wife briefly stopped by to say hello (bringing the total to eight people for less than an hour) it seems this caused issues later on. The HOA has their quiet hours starting at 9PM. On Friday night, we received notice of “multiple noise complaints” around 10:30 PM. We immediately went inside and quieted down, but the following morning, neighbors gave us obvious, unfriendly stares as we left for coffee.Later that day, I received a message reminding me of the six-person, three-car limit. At that point, it was clear we were being closely watched. It felt invasive and uncomfortable, and we didn’t feel like we could relax or enjoy the property we’d paid for. We ultimately decided to have our birthday dinner at my sister’s house instead.Overall, if you’re looking for a peaceful stay and don’t plan to have any visitors or evening gatherings, this place might work for you.
