"We absolutely adored our time here at The Retreat! The location was amazing (seriously, couldn’t be better!) and we loved everything about our stay! Personally, I loved being able to cook upstairs and watch the firepit from porch upstairs while the boys hung out next to it. Tammy was also was fantastic. Responded quickly to our questions. "The cabin was fine except for the one issue I had with the cleanliness. The dishwasher was full of half clean dishes. I say half clean because the dishwasher had been run, but the many of the dishes were not clean. I had to hand wash them first because I did not want to be blamed for putting away unclean dishes and washing them again in the dishwasher would have been futile. "

"Well maintained, staff were very couteous and mini golf was quite fun. We stayed in the farm house that can accomodate upto 12 guests (4 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms), the house was decorated with antique/rusty tools that gave it a unique character,kids loved it!! Overall it was a fun experience."

"If you’re looking for a unique, off the beaten path type of place to stay while in the Princeton area, this is for you. Just 3/4 mile off Hwy 460, sits what we called “Granny’s Cabin”. Rustic and austere but with all the basic conveniences. Easy access to Princeton and surrounding state parks. Don’t forget to try Dab’s Country Kitchen in Princeton as well. Fantastic food!"
