The place has been completely renovated and is absolutely perfect for a couple to enjoy. It is an older building, but do not let that fool you. When you step inside the condo is very nice and up to date. It is on the smaller side, but it is a perfect place for a golf getaway. The balcony overlooks a Pinehurst golf course, and the rocking chairs on the balcony are great for relaxing outside. The condo has everything a couple would need for a vacation, and again, the hosts could not have been better.The problem we had with the condo is the location. It is very near a major road, and on the other side of that road is a railroad track. The train came through nightly, and decided to announce its presence with multiple horns. This occurred multiple times a night, and therefore made a restful night nearly impossible. This is not the condo owner's fault, but it did impede on the vacation. Overall, the place is wonderful, but if you are not a very sound sleeper just beware of the train. ##### Chris K. We especially loved the balcony and the rocking chairs. The owners are very nice. This will definitely be our first choice for a place to stay whenever the two of us visit Pinehurst! ##### Stan C. The condo is brand new with a fabulous kitchen, very comfortable bed and perfect balcony right over the golf course. We had a mama bird w/her eggs in our host’s hanging flower pot so even more perfect!! Pinehurst is such a charming town with soooo much to do. We loved our first trip to NC from Southern California, the village shops, taverns, SHOPPING and historic sites too. It’s so nice, we will definitely be back and will stay at The Lofty Pine.
