« My family and I stayed at the cabin for 4 days during my daughter's winter break. It had everything we needed to manage the little ones, cook, relax, and have fun. There are many forest roads about 100 yards away for a morning hike. The local grocery was very close and convenient. The space is nice for a family with little ones. There was a creek running behind the cabin that the kids enjoyed walking down and there was a private lake with a playground that we got to explore. »

« Came here for three days. Spent zero time reviewing emails. Feels like a million miles away from civilization, even though everything you could need is literally five minutes away. Very good restaurants are in the adjacent shopping center. Drive up the hill to see incredible scenery. Beautiful trees. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an escape from work. « This is our second stay at this lovely Arnold cabin, and the title of “cozy” is quite accurate. The weather fared nice so it was not too hot (wouldn’t be anyways due to the shaded neighborhood). « It's a quiet cabin in the forest. You can see the green trees all around you. Cabin has many windows so it feels airy, and every window gives you a view of the trees at different angles, and that's exactly what we were looking for. It's a quiet neighborhood, with the sounds (and occasional visit through the property) of turkeys. For us living in Bay Area, this nature retreat was a beautiful getaway. »

"The new owners are working really hard to renovate this motel. The rooms are very comfortable, the place is very quiet. Yes there is a bit of a mess outside while work goes on but that can be overlooked. The owner is very nice and serviable. Breakfast is good but some bread and/or bagels would be a nice addition. "
