Unlike remote cabins with steep, winding roads, this location is much more accessible. The only challenge is a steep switchback at the neighborhood entrance, but most cars handle it fine. In icy conditions, it could be tricky until plows have salted the road. It was so cozy and had everything we needed to cook in home and relax. Beautiful deck to enjoy morning coffee and a great hot tub to relax in at night. Perfect location minutes to downtown but far enough to feel like you are away in the mountains. The host was very communicative and helpful during our stay. It is up the mountain just enough to be secluded, but also right down the street from the parkway only minutes from everything. My husband and I felt like it was just the right size. Especially since we would have paid more to stay in a regular hotel room. We had everything we needed to cook. We used the grill without any problems. The hot tub was perfect.
