Lookout Bear is a spacious 3,100 sq ft log cabin in Pigeon Forge in the Alpine Mountian Village Resort. We have something for everyone in the family. It is immaculately furnished and offers accommodations up to eleven guests.

Location: We are located in the closest resort to the Pigeon Forge parkway, yet secluded in the back of the resort.
As you arrive at Lookout Bear, you will enjoy a covered front porch and the mature landscape. Enter the Living Room with soaring ceilings that showcase the wood timber beams and the floor to ceiling stacked stone fireplace. Enjoy movies or your favorite show on the 55” Ultra HDTV while resting comfortably in the reclining living room furniture. The Dining Room complete with Aspen Log Dining Table that seats up to 10 is open to the Living Room and Kitchen. We have enjoyed numerous family meals at the cabin.
Lookout Bear's 3 bedroom suites each feature matching Aspen log beds & dressers & chairs, a private Jacuzzi tub, and HD flat-screen televisions. The upstairs Bedroom suite also offers a private deck with views of the resort, pool, and the surrounding area.
The downstairs family room provides plenty of entertainment with a theater room containing a 120 inch HD front projection display, 8 foot pool table, plenty of seating for your group, and access to a private deck. For families traveling with little ones, a playpen is available.
The kitchen is fully-equipped and ready for meal preparation with Stainless Steel Appliances. You can serve dinner “family Style” at the ten-person aspen wood dining table, or find additional seating at the counter for quick meals or friendly conversation.
Take advantage of the great outdoors and enjoy the beauty from any of the 4 decks or in the family sized bubbling hot tub. Also, gather around the secluded, landscaped charcoal grill for a family cookout or star gazing. Washer and dryer are included to enhance your stay.

Almost everything about Lookout Bear is fantastic. The central location, incredibly responsive hosts, and beautiful home can’t be beat. The hosts really worked with us to get us a late checkout to help with our toddlers naps. Everything in pigeon forge is within 20 minutes. The hot tub was great, and the kitchen was stocked enough for us to make meals at the cabin. The only slight downside is some of the furniture could use replacing. In particular, the bed upstairs is really worn down. It was okay for one person to sleep in, but a bit uncomfortable for 2. It wasn’t bad enough to mar our stay, but it is something to keep in mind.

My family could not have found a better place to stay for our mini vacation combined with a baseball tournament. There are plenty of things to occupy little ones as well as adults and the cabin is stocked with everything you might need. The location was perfect and an easy drive to the Cal Ripken Experience. I have stayed in a lot of cabins in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area and this was one of my favorites. Communication with the hosts was the best experience I've ever had. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for fall break and my birthday. The cabin was clean, spacious and had plenty to do keep everyone occupied. The hot tub was great after a full day at Dollywood. Exceptional cabin and the owners were great, coming to our rescue when we were technology challenged with the projection screen.

Check in was very easy. Plenty of room. Roads are a bit steep getting into the neighborhood, but location is excellent. It was a short stay so we didn’t avail ourselves to all the amenities. Furniture could stand to be deep cleaned in the living room. But; the the rest of the cabin was clean.

Great overall
Beautiful cabin. My only complaint would be the furnitue and mattresses all need updating. 2 of the 3 rocking chairs were in bad shape. Other than that, it's a great location and beautiful area.

Great family get away
Family of 5 including 3, 6, and 8 year olds spent 4 nights relaxing and exploring the surrounding area. Lovely cabin perfect for kids and adults. Hot tub was nice and clean, basement provided great entertainment for the kids, and the upstairs living space provided a great area for adults to relax while kids played. Would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to friends.

Spring Break in Pigeon Forge
Our family had a very nice time at this cabin. It is big and roomy…plenty of space for everyone. Very short drive to the main strip of Pigeon Forge. You don’t get the views and privacy of the cabins further away, but it’s very convenient and easy to town which is what we wanted on this trip. Owners were very responsive when I had questions during the stay. Highly recommend!

Amazing cabin just minutes from attractions
Exquisitely clean and very spacious. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need and beds are very comfortable. Was a great space for our family of 6. Just minutes to the grocery store and attractions was definitely a plus. Great communication with the owners. The projection screen was a hit with the kids.Would definitely recommend!
