The heater has to be turned on manually so the pool if the pool heater is wanted it will have to be for the entire stay. The pool is a swimmable temperature but is not a temperature similar to a hot tub. EARLY CHECK-IN: When available we offer two early check-in options, 2pm for $50 (plus processing fees), and 11am for $100 (plus processing fees). 14 days before arrival you will receive an initial text that will include more information on how to request these options. The house was well equipped for everything you can expect in a house of this size. Upon arrival, we noticed that the house was extremely clean, spacious as per the pictures and everything that we had expected. Incidentally, the house is in a very upscale neighborhood in Scottsdale with plenty of room for privacy. I was especially impressed with the spaciousness of the backyard with the pool and various areas to sit and enjoy Arizona’s favorite sun! Lots of space to just hang out when it rains three days in a row in Scottsdale. Showing some signs of wear and tear that could be easily addressed and resolved, but nothing that concerned the safety or comfort of the venue so we didn't reach out. It is in a safe upscale neighborhood. The outdoor space was perfect for our stay. We had a yoga and sound bath instructor come one day, 2 massage therapist, and a palm reader. We only ate out twice during our stay and cooked the rest of our meals in the kitchen. The only issues we had was the BBQ put wasn’t working and we couldn’t figure out how to turn up the heat in the hot tub although it was hot enough to still enjoy. The location is excellent — close to everything yet tucked in a nice, safe neighbourhood. The outdoor space was a real highlight, with a great patio setup, comfortable seating, and a TV for relaxing outside. The pool was refreshing, though the liner is torn in places and could use some attention.One of our favourite parts was the yard itself. There are so many birds around, including four peach‑faced lovebirds that have made a home in the cactus. They are colourful, lively, and a little loud — such a fun touch of local character.The house offered plenty of room for our group at a very reasonable price. It was relatively clean, though a few areas could have been tidier. You can tell the host puts effort into keeping things in order, but the property is showing some wear and could use a little upkeep.Overall, it was a safe, comfortable, and memorable stay — made even better by the wildlife right in the backyard. ##### Ryan S. Plenty of both sun and shade options. -We stayed in March and enjoyed watching a wide variety of birds and tasting the lemons and oranges from the trees in the yard. -Our dog (a lab) could roam free in the fully enclosed backyard. Backyard was also clean and not full of dog poop from previous guests. Garbage bin was right in the yard making it easy for us to clean up after our dog. Note smaller dogs might be able to squeeze through the gates to the yard. -Note pool is in center of backyard and not separately fenced; not an issue for our family with older kids, but may be a consideration for guests with younger kids.\*Safe neighborhood. We walked miles in the neighborhood every morning and saw many others doing the same. \*Host was extremely responsive. This is one of the few accommodations in Scottsdale that has 6 bedrooms. The property was clean, well furnished and maintained. Hot tub and pool were both amazing. Only criticism is the pool light didn’t work. Host was responsive, and provided detailed check in/check out instructions.
