Views from the house of the lake were nice, especially at night. Kitchen is very large and stocked with all the equipment you need to cook for a large group, and the gas grill right outside the kitchen door is very convenient as well. Plenty of space outdoors for a large group and the pool is fun and well-heated--good for cool desert mornings! We wished it were a little closer to some of the activities we did, such as Phoenix Zoo, spring training game at Camelback, mini golf, but that's more a function of Pheonix sprawl than the house's location per se. The kitchen was great and the family room has plenty of seating. The dining room table seats 12 comfortably. The outdoor space is great. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the heated pool and rides on the pontoon. Would definitely stay here again. Property manager responded immediately with any needs. I would have one caution if you plan to stay here with toddlers: There are two open staircases and the pools and canal call for diligent supervision. ##### Debi D. We have rented MANY vacation homes over the past 20+ years and this was one of the very nicest. Beautifully decorated. Plenty of space. The beds were comfortable. Garage parking was a huge plus! The hosts provide extra and personal touches (goodie basket, cold beverages, etc.) that make you feel welcome and let you know they understand the business they are in. The house had all the amenities we needed and was conveniently located for restaurants, groceries and other shopping. The large kitchen with a disappearing wall to the outside was especially useful. And Thanksgiving dinner on the patio was a delight. The whole family loved taking the pontoon boat out for cruises around the lake. The only real downside was the lack of instructions for some of the house's systems -- pool filter, hot tub, televisions. But the property manager was able to help us out with that. This was a wonderful house for us to share with our young grandchildren and family. The safe quiet neighborhood was good for morning walks. With easy access to major roads to Phoenix attractions, shopping and mall. Every afternoon we swam and swam. Great yard to relax, grill, catch ball game on large TV. The warm pool was small, but the easy entry, exit worked well for all of us. The covered/ shaded dining table was perfect all day long for activities, games and meals. So relaxing. Then back into the pool. The pontoon provided a fun little tour of neighborhood. We appreciated the fishing rods for catch and release. We also used the garage to house our electric bikes. The large kitchen never felt crowded. Plenty of bedrooms, beds, TVs, areas to spread out and relax. The numerous bath towels and pool towels were easily kept ready with a full size washer and dryer. With temperatures over 100, our family of 5 was very grateful to have such a beautiful home with plenty of space, that was well stocked, with a fantastic infinity pool. Both indoor and outdoor spaces were perfect and allowed for us to be in or out, day or night. Nice views of the mountains in back (w/access to hiking trails at the end of the street). The home is very close to groceries and several restaurants, making it convenient. The added bonus of the pontoon boat was also a nice perk. (We didn't realize that you couldn't swim in the lake or that the boat couldn't be operated when temps were 100+, but this didn't hinder us from taking it out in the morning or evening for a nice cruise around the lake). Some fishing gear is provided and we were able to catch a few (and release them). We had a small issue with the fridge, but this was promptly resolved with timely communication from the property manager. The home is somewhat dated and could use a few fixes, but overall, it was very comfortable (especially the beds) and provided us with the perfect spot to enjoy quality family time for the week.
