Very clean, comfortable, easy highway access and in a great, safe location. Everything in the home is nicely updated and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We took a golf cart ride to Old Town, which is about a mile away. Fashion Square is right down the street as well, which was super convenient. It’s in a nice, quiet neighborhood with a park and splash pad right down the street. The pool and hot tub were wonderfully maintained and clean. Plenty of space for our family of 5\. Communication with the owners was easy and they were quick to respond and very kind. We were texted though 3 minutes before the pest control arrived to leave the backyard while we were just getting ready to spend the day in the pool. The pest control said kids and dogs should stay off until it was dry (which wild take a couple hours). That was the only wrench in our plans staying here, otherwise, a great place to stay and we would come back. ##### Kerry S. Everything was clean and well maintained. We came from Ohio to Scottsdale for 4 days for my niece’s wedding and were traveling on to California afterwards to visit family, so we had our two golden retrievers and our son’s black lab with us. It is so hard to find a place that allows 3 big dogs, so we are so grateful to Maryann and Ralph for letting us bring them and stay in their home. The pool and spa were amazing, and our son used the She Shed for a work call, which was a great additional feature. The washer & dryer were also nice and convenient. The next time we come to the Scottsdale area to visit my niece and her husband, we will definitely look to stay here again! ##### Angie R. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, there’s a park/playground close by. The house has just about everything including very comfortable furniture & beds. The pool is excellent - we had a great time lounging on sunny days. The orange tree even provided a few oranges! The location is perfect to get on the highway - we were within a quick drive of most golf, shopping & baseball. Absolutely beautiful home! The location is perfect to access everything Scottsdale. The neighborhood is very quiet. The home has amazing charm and has been completely updated. The cute critters and decor are such a nice touch. :-) The kitchen is fully stocked and the beds are very comfortable. The back yard is amazing and was perfect for our two pups. I've stayed in many vacation homes and this is by far up there near the top of my list. I will always stay here when I visit Scottsdale in the future. We found this property in our search for places close to the Scottsdale Stadium…and were very pleased with house! Immediately upon opening the front door, we knew we made a good choice! Super clean, tastefully decorated, stocked with fun games and household supplies, and a lot of seating options (inside and out). Plenty of leftover supplies (which we contributed to on our departure) made it nice as we forgot a few items on our grocery run. The hot tub was great in the cool mornings, sitting on the patio was very pleasant, and evening games at the kitchen table worked out great! Super quiet neighborhood in the evening was nice. No issues with neighbors, close to grocery stores, quick access to the 101 loop freeway. Very responsive owners when needed, but their house manual is extensive and provides all the details needed for a comfortable stay. All in all, a great location and a great property. ##### Brandan H. I cannot begin to do justice to how perfect this VRBO rental is. I was SO sad to leave and cannot wait to rent this again the next time I am in Arizona. I was in the Phoenix area from Ohio for a canine adoption trial through The Be Like Josh Foundation. I had to have a spacious pet friendly property because the dog I adopted would be staying with me at the home for two out of my three nights and has a mobility condition. I reviewed A LOT of properties because I wanted to be in Scottsdale, within 15min of Mesa, and have a home that was comfortable, spacious, inviting and relaxing. This was a very special trip for me, and I wanted to have a rental that felt like home for me. Boy, did I hit the jackpot and choose the right property. I'm so grateful. This home resides in the well known and loved South Scottsdale area. While I did not get to explore the area due to time constraints, I know it is SO close to everything everyone loves about Scottsdale. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. I met one of my fellow Be Like Josh fans who lives just across the street. It was so special. The home presents itself as you see it in the listing - and even better! It is equipped with EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a short term stay or long term rental. There is more space than you will know what to do with. This can accommodate a large family with plenty of space for ppl to spread out. I spent time in all of the living areas and I loved each room for different reasons. Maryann is THE MOST gracious host - so kind, helpful, impeccable communicator, and has THOUGHT OF NEARLY EVERYTHING one could need. While many rentals do not provide some of the essentials, The Cottage has it all to get you started and then some - coffee, water, laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner, kleenex, TP, paper towels, plenty of plush, high end towels, more pots, pans, dishes, etc than you could ever use and then some. The decor of the house is beautiful, hip, modern, interesting and fresh. No stone has been left unturned. OMGosh - and the SHE SHED?! WHAT?! Just the cutest space ever. I was at the rental for three nights. I walked every single day and felt safe. Shopping is within a 20-30min walking or short driving distance. So convenient. Of course, I am running out of room. I cannot more highly recommend this home, and I thank Maryann for her goodness, hospitality and creating a pet friendly beautiful rental for others to enjoy. ##### Kate K.
