We flew in from New Jersey and the rest of our family flew in from Hawaii and Mississippi. The pool, the hot tub, and cold plunge were added bonuses. The host, Patrick, provided rapid feedback whenever we had a question and informed us when the landscapers and pool maintenance crew would be on property. . Linens and pool towels were plentiful, and the kitchen was well appointed with enough plates, pots/pans, glassware, utensils. We will definitely be returning to the area and will stay at this beautiful home. We expected heat, but not a completely unlivable home due to a broken AC unit.When we arrived, the AC was off and never cooled once turned on. We reached out multiple times through the VRBO app and were repeatedly brushed off. It wasn’t until someone from their team visited and confirmed it was broken that they sent an emergency HVAC tech but even after the repair attempt, it still didn’t work. We spent the entire trip sweating through 115 temps, unable to sleep or relax.To survive, we had to buy our own fans. On top of that, the house clearly hadn’t been professionally cleaned. There were dead bugs throughout, and we were eaten alive at night each of us left with 10 bites.We spoke to someone from their team who said they’d work toward a resolution. When we called back, they never answered or returned our voicemails. We were ghosted.This was a deeply unprofessional and disappointing experience. A trip we were so excited for turned into a miserable, sweltering ordeal. Unless you’re willing to pay premium prices for a home with no AC, bugs, and zero support, do not book this property. ##### Carmela S. What a gem we found! The home and grounds were so beautiful, that we extended our stay to enjoy the wonderful property. The separate spaces, the large gathering spaces, the indoor and outdoor spaces were all amazing! The pool, cold pool, and hot tub were fantastic! All of it was incredible! We will be booking again!
