When heated, the temperature will be maintained the best we can during the winter months. As the pools are outside we have them set for the 87 but as the temps drop so do the pools. We do heat them but the colder outside the harder it is to hold higher temps, It is still heated but not in the 80’s during the colder seasons, To ensure the pool is heated for your arrival we require a minimum 3 day advance notice. If you decide to take advantage of the optional pool/spa heat it is required for the entire duration of your stay, it can not be turned on and off daily. Effective 1/1/2024 a $1000 incidental/ noise deposit will be held upon check in and refunded back to your bank after checkout, when home is inspected and no damages and noise violation occurred. The house was clean and so large, the check in process was easy and communication with the host was simple. We were assigned a contact person who we were able to text directly any time and she always responded promptly. We had a few minor issues - such as the ice machine in the fridge not working, a door that would not lock. They had someone come out immediately to fix the issues. The property was private and quiet but still just a mile away from groceries and things to do. Door dash and Walmart/target delivery were available but you felt secluded at the home. The views were beautiful and the backyard was like a resort. The bedrooms were comfortable with thermostats in each room and comfy beds with plenty of extra bedding and towels/beach towels. Two dishwashers and two washer/dryers made keeping up on things with a large group so easy. The only negative thing we struggled with was that the pool and hot tub can only be heated one at a time. With temps dipping down at night, we had a hard time keeping both at comfortable temps. While paying $150 per day for pool heat - this was disappointing. Our host tried to help us control it but it wasn’t feasible with only one being able to be heated at a time. However, this is a very minor complaint and certainly won’t stop us from returning. The kids loved the downstairs bunk room, basketball court and theatre room. The adults loved the hot tub, hiking trails, gorgeous mtn views and pickleball court. Plenty of room for everyone.
