This property is amazing! It is a historical gem that makes you feel not only comfortable but in awe of the history that surrounds this beautiful, well kept home.

Great Getaway!
What a great historical home! The property was beautiful, we mostly came for the pool and it definitely did not disappoint, the pool and game room area was definitely the highlight of our stay. I have to give a Huge shoutout to MaryAnn who went above and beyond on our stay, she made our vacation possible with permission for our pooch to stay and enjoy our family time that we wanted and I can’t tell you how pleasant she was. The historical home had a lot to offer and a lot of space with everything that you need, around the house are fun facts and trinkets and a sign in guest book was fun to read. The back yard was full of deer and plenty of space for the family and our dog. It was very quiet and prefect for our little get away. Shops were near by too. Thank you again for letting us stay at this beautiful home. And thank you for letting us bring our furry family friend, we never leave home without him!

Father's 100 birthday party.
Traveled from North Carolina to attend large reunion to Celebrate my father's 100th birthday. The estate comfortably held our immediate family of 8 and we were able to host a nice gathering at the pool on Friday night. Location was great and loved the vintage home. I grew up in Lansdale and never knew about the estate. I look forward to booking again in the future. Very good visit!

The property was super interesting! There was so much history and the layout was fun for the whole family. The property outside is beautiful, and the pool house was a ton of fun. The host was super kind, messaging with us regularly when we needed something.

Awesome place to stay if you have a larger group. Comfortably slept everyone in our group with their own bed. Lots of room to get together (pool house and dining room) so we could be together to celebrate. Plenty of parking and room for everyone. Would stay here again.

Historic charm but inadequate function
Came for daughter’s wedding. Size of property adequate for large family gathering, but lacked comfortable beds and adequate seating. Lighting in bedrooms and bathrooms was insufficient for ladies to apply makeup or for men to shave. Roof leaked in the first floor en suite bath, and cold water knob in downstairs half bath did not work properly. Property generally deteriorating due to deferred maintenance, and kitchen cabinets and utensils and cutlery were not clean. Very Disappointing stay for the price.

Lovely, gracious home
The Morgan-Hughes Homestead is an exceptionally well-preserved historic home. The pool down the lane was a big hit for our family. The rooms are spacious so there was plenty of room for the toddler to play, even with the lovely antiques. The house was clean and we had a great time!

The perfect family basecamp
This rental was the ideal home for our large family over the course of a wedding weekend. Lots of room to spread out and sleep comfortably. Plenty of bathrooms to prevent the shower logjam. Even a separate solarium for the bride's prep out of sight. The pool and pool house added outdoor fun and space for brunch and informal gatherings around the formal wedding festivities. Skip the hotel room block and do yourself a favor and rent here.

Celebration of life
Beautiful, unique historic house that allowed large spaces for the gathering of many people. It had a well supplied kitchen with every utensil and pan you could possibly need. Linens for bedrooms was ample. Also it has a beautiful neighborhood for taking walks. Thank you for providing for all we needed.

Fantastic place to chill
The House and amenities were so inviting with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy quiet time amid the kayos of getting ready to attend a family wedding. We ENJOYED the outdoor space with perfect fall color, the historical home and area was full of friendly warm energy , the entry table to sip coffee in the mornings, plus the kids LOVED, LOVED the separate pool room space full of games. The house was perfect. We had 4 families together for a memorial service, there was plenty of space, the property is well maintained. the pool house was a great space and even though it was September the kids spent 2 hours in the pool a day. Any questions we had were answered right away. Will definetely re-book since we have family in that area.

We had one of our best family vacations. The house, pool, neighborhood and communication with the owner was ideal. We have taken yearly vacations with our family for years and this was one of the best. Millie takes great care but you rarely see her. Thank you for a wonderful time.

An ideal and pastoral setting.
Grateful that we were able to make treasured memories as a group in this historic property. It seemed we just kept making discoveries throughout the house. Charming, comfortable, with enough room for everyone. One little bird who built a windowsill nest kept laying tiny eggs. A storybook setting and we had all we needed. The pool house was an unexpected bonus! Would stay again.

Relax in paradise.
This is a wonderful property with a lot of history. Great quite location, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The private swimming pool and private pool house / game room made our stay at this property that much more enjoyable. Ms.Millie and her husband who take care of this property were reliable, accessible and respectful. The owner of the property also responded to my my call and text messages very promptly. This is a great rental property to spend quality time with family and friends. We shall return again. ☆☆☆☆☆

Unique experience
Stay in an historical home, but enjoy modern amenities on property. Pool, pool table, air hockey, football are all steps from the main house and for the exclusive use of the main house guests. Close to freeways providing access to all the Philadelphia area has to offer. Very welcoming property team and excellent communications.
