A delightful little cottage on the property of a beautiful estate home. Every day you can say good morning to the sheep, chickens and goats right outside your door. If you’re lucky, Whitey the cat will stop by for a visit. Very clean, modern and cozy. Small, simple and very peaceful. The property backs up to the park. The hosts, Jen, Mark and Mazzie were gracious with their check-in tour and attentive to any small need. The Avenue shops are walkable but on cold and snowy days I drove up for strolling and a few good meals. Wish I could have stayed longer!

#### Cottage 

We had our hearts set on renting the cottage as soon as we saw the description and photos. When we arrived,our hosts welcomed us like family,introduced us to the adorable family pets,and took us on a tour. Photos cannot fully capture the beauty and peacefulness here,it is truly lovely. The cottage is absolutely beautiful,tastefully designed and decorated,immaculate,comfortable and luxurious,with a fabulous kitchen and lots of natural light. The front porch is large and great for relaxing,birdwatching,or just listening to the wind in the trees. The location is also great--a short walk to shopping and restaurants along Germantown Ave. and very nice neighborhoods to walk through. The Wissahickon Trails are just steps away from the cottage,and it is a treat to be able to walk in those pretty woods anytime you feel like it! We could go on and on,but in summary,our hosts are welcoming,warm,and kind,made sure we had everything one could need,and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our time and memories made here.
