"Must say you must be quite fit if want to stay at Patrick's boathouse, there is a steep graduation to the place, then you need to climb about six flights of stairs ( that is if you are staying in rooms 5b or 6b, but the view is worth it I suppose.. Room itself is lovely, spacious , bath room was huge, and the bed was comfortable. Very close to the sea. Shame the balcony isn't made as sitting out on,like the others, ( for the price of the room 5b, was a little disappointed. Also the breakfast in room ( yet again for the price could of been better,) also didn't like the thought of walking down to the first floor to get other cearels. As that was all that was served, we only when for 2 night, if you went for a week it could be expensive, the parking for 24 hour was £17, plus if you went out for a cooked breakfast every day you are talking a lot of money. It's good that you can take your dog and they have towels & balls there for them, They could make the bathroom a lot smaller and then could put a small kitchen in with a toaster, there is a fridge, a kettle already there, I would go back but stay at a lower level. Didn't see any staff or owners, but there were there at the end of the phone if needed. The curtains don't meet at the top, plus the green safety lights are quite bright at night, which does disturb you."

"The chalet was fine, well placed for the mumbles. Not enough information about the chalet amenities but have passed this on to the host. I would say it’s not big enough for 6 people, four maybe. Could have been cleaner but again have passed this on."

"A home-from-home cosy cottage tucked away in a lovely quiet spot, yet close to the amenities of the Mumbles and the rest of the Gower peninsula. Lovely sheltered back patio for enjoying the sunshine. It was kitted out with everything, and more, that we needed and the beds were very comfy. Paula, the host, was on the ball when the kettle died one afternoon. Amazon had delivered a new one by lunchtime the next day.From start to finish we had a lovely time here. "

"Super accommodation; ideal for an out of season break.Kitchen well equipped but also lots of excellent places to eat within walking distance. Parking isn't protected - fine in winter but probably an issues in the summer.Bed is v v comfy and the en suite shower with a glass roof is a treat.The stairs up are quite steep and you have a second, short outside staircase to navigate (with access to your own, private outdoor space) - would be tricky if you have mobility issues.The Christmas tree was a lovely, unexpected touch and the owners were v flexible with check in/out times.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"

"Cottage was clean and everything was in working order. We had a problem understanding how to use the front door key which was addressed the morning after we arrived. We did not drive a car, which necessitated using both the taxi and Uber services, both of which worked well. "
