« Upon checking in, my partner started to have a bad reaction to all of the fresh exposed wood in the house. Neither of us were aware she had this sensitivity. It did not affect me at all. Amanda came to the rescue and was able to transfer us to another property right on the ocean in the heart of Bar Harbor, essentially saving our vacation. I will just say that the new property was so nice, it was a step down when we finally returned home after the vacation. Amanda rocks!!! »

« Highbrook Motel was a great place to stay. We were there 5 nights. Our room was very clean with good quality linens and towels, water pressure was great, amenities more than adequate. It was so convenient to order breakfast every day to eat in our room or on the porch in front of our room. We had access to more coffee, chocolate chip cookies and ability to pop popcorn. « Quiet and Secluded. We had a great time sitting around the fire, great memories, very clean, The kids had a great time. The top bunk mattress was fine for my 8 year old but would have been a bit stiff for me. My older son slept on the futon he loved it. Plenty of towels, The water heater is a small one but we could each get nice hot showers if we waited a bit between. It would reheat quickly for the next shower. »
