We thoroughtly enjoyed our stay! We were attending a wedding nearby, and I needed a place to finsh up the wedding cake i was asked to make. This property was ideal. The rooms were amply sized, the kitchen was spacious and well appointed. The smart TV was ready to log into. The water got nice and hot, and the open bathroom vanity area made getting ready easy for 4 people. We didn't consider the washer/dryer in our choice of the property, but when we had a clothing emergency it was a blessing. The property is an excellent balance of historic charm with modern convenience. Its located just a block or two from the busier center of town, so its quiet, but also close by. The diner across the block was great for breakfast. The parking across the street was also very convenient. I was slightly concerned that it is listed as a "second floor" property, based on our needs, but that was really not an issue. Its only a few very wide and accesible steps, and that was no problem at all. My only caution would be, we arrived later than planned and it was dark. Google maps doesnt accurately show the entrance, so we were slightly confused where it go in the dark. So, I'd suggest arriving earlier than we did, having a better sense of direction then we do, or let them know in case they might leave the outside light on for you. Also, communication from the host was top notch.
