We had be warned of inserts and bugs in Uluru. However we did not expect we get cockroach, bugs and centipede in our room! Overall the Uluru trip was excellent , especially the Sunset Journey experience , Uluru-Kata Tjuta national park tour and the field of light. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus service to the township and other resorts. We will definitely visit Uluru again but it will be in Winter season. The room itself was clean, though the bathrooms are shared and located outside. Expect some bugs like grasshoppers on the walls and beetles in the sink—it’s pretty remote. Overall, for the price, it was worth staying in the area esp it being so close to Kings Canyon.
