Lovely stay here, only bad thing was the rooms were very stuffy even with the air con on it was very warm in the room so that was uncomfortable. Hotel meals were expensive too. Was clean and nice hotel though

Had a wonderful 2night stay, amenities where brilliant, all the staff where brilliant, nothing was to much for them, would definitely recommend them, can’t wait to go back

I am trying to locate an email address to respond to the hotel?? Cannot find one anywhere! We were awake until 4.45am due to very noisy neighbours. I called down to the reception at 2.30am, they asked for music to be turned down, this was until it started to increase. Doors were banging, manager came back up for some reason 2nd time and wished them a good evening at 3.30am as he left!!!!! A good evening? It’s the middle of the night?? We finally fell asleep once our neighbours had at 4.45am!!! Not the best stay and just an apology at the desk, terrible. Not to say we also had an 8 year old with us who did not have the best sleep and at times was a little unsettled with all the noise. The swimming pool area was so busy this time, people not adhering to rules and felt quite sorry for the paying adults who use the leisure facilities regularly as there was no respect for their use. Breakfast used to be a buffet but this had changed and to be honest wasn’t a great deal of selection like there used to be!! I am disappointed as we are regular guests and we have left feeling quite deflated. I am not sure we will be back 😞

Bathroom toiletries lacking; duvet only as wide as the bed, so my wife slept on the sofa bed. There was a conference so dining room unavailable both days of our stay, so had to eat in the bar (dinner and breakfast). Breakfast food choice fair, but chaotic, difficult food access; only one coffee machine, and staff whipping away plates and cutlery when one had hardly finished eating.

very very dissapointing
I will start with our arrival at 3.20 in the afternoon, our room was not ready, so they gave us another room. we didnt eat in the hotel on the first night, but had a drink in the bar later that night. we went out the next day and got back to our room , which had not been cleaned, went back to reception which was a long trek, to be told they only clean the rooms every 3 days, we should have been asked on check in if this was ok, but we were not, which also means no clean towels or bins emptied. we decided to have a meal in the hotel , it was ok, not one person came and asked us how our meal was , also when we has finished we waited at least 30 mins and no one came to clear the table, so we got up and left and sat just outside, they were pretty quick to bring the bill, we explained and they did offer to refund the food, but we had a glass of wine in stead. how i wish that was the end of the saga but no, we went back to our room , and went to bed, at about 11.45 the noise from the next room was so loud, that started abnout 12.30. we phoned the duty manager at 2.15, he came quickley eventually they heard him and he asked them to keep the noise down, they did not, until 3 o clock, so when we met up with family the next day it was spoiled by how tired we were. terrible stay.

I thought the hotel was dated in appearance. I wasn’t told rooms were cleaned every 3 days, which is fine, if there is a towel rail to dry wet towels on. My duvet cover was poorly fitted to the duvet, and was uncomfortable. The facilities to clean mugs in the room, and would expect in a 4 star hotel for tea and coffee to be topped up daily and mugs to be replaced with clean ones. I arrived at 22:30 on Friday after 14 hours of work, having not eaten since lunch time. I was told the restaurant was closed but I could wait until 11pm to order a sandwich which I did. I returned from work Saturday afternoon as I had an hour spare, to find my wet towels still wet, my sandwich tray still in the room and no tea bags and dirty mugs. I was disappointed and tired. I am further disappointed that I was charged £11 for ‘tray service’ and £10 for the sandwich. I am unsure how you can justify charging £21 for a chicken sandwich and leaving the plate in the room for 16 hours???

Could have been an awesome stay but….
Booked two rooms. On rooms TV wasn’t working properly. There is construction going on. Three days a week, they offer infant swim lessons for non-hotel guests. There were at least ten babies and their mothers in the small indoor pool. The mothers were singing baby songs and it was so loud, one could not hear anything else in the wellness building. At 8:00am I was listening to welding, grinders and hammering in the rooms near me. Hot tub wasn’t even close to hot. The food was good. Beds were comfortable. Not sure if I will stay there again.
