The owners and staff were really friendly and there was great attention to detail. The location is stunning, and the town has everything you'd want including great restaurants and a lovely cinema.

Friendly family run hotel

Lovely people who run & own the place. Only problem is no parking at the the hotel, but Pay & Display near by. Breakfast menu has a great selection.

We only stayed one night and were up early to catch onward transport. Clean and all you need for a quick stay. Although the room we had only has French doors to the room and is over looked by other properties, if worried about privacy you would need to keep the curtains closed, could do with some sort of net curtains to cover door while still letting in natural light. But a overall welcoming and comfortable.

We received excellent and personal service from everybody at the "The Smugglers". Definitely one of the best breaks we ever had. The room was exceptional, very clean, quiet and extra spacious. The breakfast was very tasty and freshly prepared every morning exactly to our liking! We would definitely stay here again.

Like staying in a seaside postcard

This is an adorable, cozy, beautiful, clean guest house. Our room was so inviting and tidy with the best view! The hosts were friendly and helpful and provided an excellent breakfast each day. We will stay there again. The only issue is that parking can be a bit challenging. This is to be expected, though, in Cornwall in summer.

The hosts were lovely. Clean, safe, comfortable, good common area includes fridge, glasses, plates & cutlery. Delicious breakfasts with a view of the colourful boat harbour. The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! Would stay here again!!!

The room was great. The location in Newlyn overlooking the fishing fleet harbor was really wonderful. Barbara and Stephen were personable and always helpful. Stephen's breakfasts were great, and he even made a lunch to go when we had to catch a train prior to breakfast. We had a great stay!

I didn't like anything about this property. Unwelcome arrival. Was not given the room shown in the photograph. Accessed by a steep set of open wooden steps outside the property. Room smelt stale. Mismatched cheap dated furniture. Sat on bed, very uncomfortable.
