Every room in every Sky Home has a water view. No Sky Home sits below the fifth floor. Spacious and comfortable, each Sky Home is at least twice as wide as a typical beach condo. With private water-view balconies, each is equipped with all the conveniences you'd expect to find in a premier resort, including spacious closets with extra linens and pillows, as well as a dishwasher, washer/dryer and much more. Every room has its own full bathroom plus a half-bath for Sky Home common-area use. Each of Portofino's five Mediterranean-inspired towers features its own exclusive outdoor pool and revitalizing whirlpool spa, plus covered parking for your convenience. Wasn’t cleaned and photos are misleading. As this was our first time to Portifino, we had high expectations given the positive reviews of the property and the high price tag. Check-in went smooth and they had plenty carts available for transporting our stuff. First impression of the room wasn’t bad but once you started walking around you could tell it had a rough life. Furniture falling apart, the floor was disgusting and obviously hadn’t been mopped in ages. There were crumbs covering the dining table and the sofas. The shower door in the Master Bathroon was falling off the hinges, toilet paper holders falling off the wall and damage to the paint and walls everywhere. The photos show nice chairs and a rug in the living room which don’t exist. There were a dozen remotes scattered about which none worked the TV’s. After sharing my concerns with the property owner, maintenance brought some remotes but the cleaning people never came. After that, the property owner went silent and I never heard back about anything. Although not the resort’s fault, it’s obvious there are no standards set for property owners. We will not be staying at Portifino again in the future and I would advise anyone staying there to do research before committing. ##### Adam P.
