Reviewer Comments: We live about 3.5 hours from Pensacola Beach and typically stay in hotels when visiting the area. This was our first time renting an Airbnb on Pensacola Beach, and while the location was absolutely ideal, we had some mixed feelings about the property itself.Pros: • Location: The house is located in a prime spot with direct beach access. The water was some of the clearest and most beautiful we’ve ever seen in Pensacola Beach truly breathtaking. • Layout & Space: The property is a three story home: • The first floor serves as a garage, which is very convenient for storing beach gear. It also includes a refrigerator great for quickly replenishing drinks and snacks for the beach. • The second floor is a spacious living area with a full bathroom. This space is easily large enough to accommodate 15 20 people comfortably. We only had 6 in our group, so we had more than enough room. • The third floor contains 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. All bedrooms are generously sized, and the master bedroom has a stunning view of the Gulf. The bed is positioned in the center of the room facing the water, which was a beautiful touch.Cons: • Appliances: On our first morning, we discovered the coffee pot did not work. This was disappointing, especially for a property at this price point. We had to go out and purchase one ourselves. • Pest Issues: This was a significant concern for our group. We encountered multiple roaches on both the second and third floors. Alarmingly, we even saw them running across the counter and stove while we were cooking, which was completely unacceptable from a cleanliness and sanitation standpoint. • Maintenance & Upkeep: There were several light bulbs out across all three floors, which made certain areas dim or poorly lit.
