It was the best part of the property. Now, I appreciate a clean rental like anyone else but I feel like if we can smell the cleaning chemical from outside the door it might be too much.... We had to leave all the doors open for a hours to get the smell out. It was overpowering and nauseating. The major disappointment of the property, was outside in the back. There were nails and screws laying all over the back patio. I thought about going to pick them up but that would have taken a whole day. Luckily we didn't have little kids with us and the teenagers are smart enough to pay attention to where they step after rinsing in the outdoor shower. Small things, like the stove turning on with barely a touch. Again, thank goodness we didn't have small kids. We couldn't find potholders, so we had to use towels... Its proximity to the beach was fantastic - just cross the street & you're on the access path. The house was clean with a fully stocked kitchen (i.e., utensils - everything you would ever need), smart TVs in each bedroom, strong water pressure - just all around very comfortable. The location is terrific - far enough away from the hotels, but not that far to jump in the car to get to the boardwalk. Complimentary umbrella & beach chairs came with our booking, but there are also a ton of beach paraphernalia the house has that you can use.
