Each morning we'd find mouse droppings underneath the fridge, on window ledges and by the sink. On leaving we also discovered mice had chewed through one of our bags. »

« This is a really lovely and immaculately maintained property, and one that provides and excellent base for exploring the Lake District. It is very well equipped and comfortable, and also nice and quiet - just the tonic if on a break. We enjoyed cooking and relaxing and also exploring the local area, which was new to us. The property was not adequately prepared between bookings. The cleaning did not deal with the overpowering smell of curry powder that lasted till we left. »

« Lovely cottage, well-equipped. Wonderful position for walking straight from the cottage, and the valley with its birdsong and red squirrels is a joy. The track up to the cottage has some slightly challenging moments for a standard small car that’s low to the ground, but we managed fine. Overall, a magical cottage in a magical setting. »

« Very impressed with the barn suitability and comfortness. Kev was a fantastic host with local knowledge and was very helpful. The hot tub was a lovely way to relax after a day of shopping and the weather was nice enough to enjoy a bbq. We would definately recommend Bellas Barn to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable time away. »
