Nov 14, 2025 #### A lovely cosy cottage in a nice village location with lots of amenities. Another nice week in Blacksmiths Cottage, something we always look forward to. Most welcome this time was the good supply of wood for the log burner, which has been refurbished and now burns well. The ‘welcome pack’, which was supplied by one of the local shops, contained fresh bread and milk and locally made biscuits, flapjack etc. Looking forward to our next stay. ##### Nigel P. Chocolate box gorgeous from the rose over the door to the lovely mix of old and new decor. The bottle of wine waiting for us was a thoughtful touch.
