The property was great and very central to the area. Everything was 10 minutes away. Perfect location and off the ‘busy’ towns.
Quaint, cozy cottage with all the amenities you could need. The view out the front windows overlooked grape vines - beautiful at sunrise and sunset.
Amazing attention to detail - little things like, fresh bread on arrival; lots of brochures on walking trails, biking etc; hand-made list of things happening in the area during our stay; little bowls for jewellery on the bedside tables - just to name a few. We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway. Highly recommend.
Light filled, lovely home in good location. Friendly and helpful welcome, generously provisioned, including fresh home made bread-delicious. Highly recommended.
Fantastic property in a great location! Hosts Andrew & Josie communicated well throughout and were extremely inviting on arrival. Although we didn’t get a chance to spend much time at the property as we had lots of things planned, we were very comfortable when we were there. Thank you for a wonderful stay amongst the vines!!
Amazing cottage stay in a beautiful setting surrounded by vines! Everything has been thought of and the cottage is extremely clean, modern and cosy! Perfect for a romantic break or just a couple of nights away from the city! Josie & Andrew are fantastic hosts and offer a wealth of knowledge and can help with suggestions if needed. Staying here has been a highlight of the Barossa! Make sure you catch sunset in the hammock with some local wine!
When the owners list the cottage as "In the Vines," they're not kidding! This cosy cottage is situated in the midst of a vineyard, and we enjoyed a bottle of wine from the vines just outside our door.
Josie and Andrew are excellent hosts. Their communication was timely and thorough, and they were happy to make recommendations to help us plan our days in the Barossa.
The cottage is outfitted in a way that's sure to please. It was immaculately clean and well appointed, with all that was needed to make our stay comfortable. The tea and coffee options were plentiful, as were the choices for breakfast. (Homemade bread made on the day of our arrival--such a gorgeous touch!)
Highly recommend!
My husband and I had a lovely stay at Josies and Andrews cottage just a few minutes outside of Nuriootpa on the June long weekend. The cottage was very clean and tidy and well decked out with many features and provisions, thanks :). The kitchen and bathrooms were very modern and glistening! Although the weather was cold the cottage remained warm and cosy thanks to the efficient heating/cooling system. As much as the wineries and townships were not far, for drink/driving purposes we decided to utilise the local taxi service/s whilst we were there. We had no troubles with booking last minute rides to and from Tanunda and surrounds for lunches and dinners each day and the service was great. The cottage is located within minutes of a number of wineries, restaurants, main towns and the produce markets. Thanks for a lovely stay!
Very clean and well-provisioned. A great location from which to explore the Barossa Valley. The hosts are very helpful and leave plenty of information about things to see and do. A lovely place to stay!
We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the cottage. The friendly welcome, generous provisions and the scenic location added to the comfortably appointed residence. It is located in a fantastic position to easily explore the towns in the Barossa.
We had such a fantastic stay at the cottage for a little weekend trip. The cottage is really cosy with a beautiful view onto the vineyard. Josie is super helpful and the place is exceptionally clean . All the extra little touches like eggs, coffee, tea and bacon were so appreciated!
The most beautiful little house with amazing views. Every detail has been thought of to make it feel like a home. Easy check in process and great recommendations on what wineries to visit. The addition of the hammock right by the vines was genius! Highly recommend and will definitely stay again
Was such an amazing stay! Great location!
Scrumptious and ample breakfast supplies + more.
Delightful hosts who were very hospitable, fun to chat to and gave us space.
The cottage is soo beautiful with everything you could need and more!
Josie and Andrew were wonderful hosts and their cottage was perfect for the start of our break. Loved being able to wander down to a cellar door. Well stocked and very comfortable, we’d love to come back.
