We received the automated VBRO message stating that we would receive check in information from our host on 23NOV25; however, we did not. The host did however respond almost immediately when we messaged the day prior to our check in. Upon arrival and entering the premise, we were overwhelmed with cat urine odor and a large spider web on the stairs complete with accompanying spider. The premise is dated; however it did look like it was cleaned at some point before our arrival. We could smell cleaning products along with the urine smell. There was a box of cat odor product in the back enclosed section. We contacted the host to let him know that because one of our party was very allergic to cats we would not be able to stay. The host assured us that a cat had never been on the premise; however, that cat urine smell came from something. ##### Alexis K. Dad enjoyed his space on the entry level, which also had it own half bath and thermostat. The rest of us had plenty of room upstairs. The location was great. We were able to get to our family in Wilmington in 20 minutes. The river park was merely a 5 minute walk away and the teenagers enjoyed it very much.....I felt it was safe enough for them to walk by themselves. The management was alsi very easy to communicate with. If we xime to Wilmington again, thia is probably where we will stay. ##### Daniele S.
