Located in the historic Main Street business district in Penn Yan, this apartment has been completely renovated, turned into a lovely Industrial style loft apartment, and has all the modern amenities while keeping that historic, old world charm. Originally constructed in 1880, this historic property offers a fully open floor plan, with the full kitchen, dining area, seating area, and sleeping areas all contained in one loft space. Walking into the apartment, you'll get that perfect blend of industrial and farmhouse vibes. The ceilings have been removed to expose the beautiful old rafters and tall, arched windows grace the front of the apartment and offer views of Main Street. The first floor below the apartment houses an operational storefront, which is currently an office space maintaining office hours. There is a significant acoustical separation between the Loft and the storefront below. The street-level main entrance opens to a flight of stairs leading up to the Loft. The full kitchen is large and has windows offering views of the rear parking area and adjacent streets and buildings. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dinnerware for 4, a full-size dishwasher, and a coffee maker. The dining area has a large table that comfortably seats 4 and is a fantastic spot for a sit-down dinner or game night. The seating area has a large comfortable couch, large TV, and two twin day beds. The main sleeping area includes a king size bed, dresser, large wardrobe, and has tall, arched windows offering views of Main Street. There is a folding divider to offer a bit of privacy to the bed area, from the rest of the studio apartment. There is a dedicated desk/workspace adjacent to the main sleeping area--a great spot to sit if you're traveling for work. The full bathroom contains a tub/shower and adjacent to the bathroom there is a stackable washer and dryer. The Loft is the perfect home-away-from-home apartment, whether you're traveling for work or vacationing with your significant other and a few friends. You'll love the specialty coffee shop just a few doors down, Amity Coffee Co., the Burnt Rose Wine Bar next door, and you'll find many other amenities including restaurants, bars, and the Keuka Outlet Trail within feet of your front door. Breweries, dozens of wineries, and countless opportunities for hiking can all be found within a short drive. It has a great vintage vibe of the original downtown, but with a modern touch. Highlights include: large open space, comfortable king bed, delicious restaurants and coffee shop below. Lots of them were closed in the beginning of the week and also closed early (8pm). It was nice to have this to walk to! People very friendly. The Loft was spacious and had everything we needed. Hands down this is one of the best equipped and well organized kitchens that we have encountered for people who actually intend to cook. The accommodations were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The only downside to the property is that it is at the top of 21 steep stairs. But exercise is good....right?
