Room by elevator a bit loud. Also, they played a very low music in the hallways, all night long too. It wasn't loud but for a light sleeper like myself I found it a bit bothersome. Great location.

Staff was welcoming and very kind. Rooms were comfortable and clean.Good breakfast. Parking was limited. Really need more parking. We would definitely stay here again, though.

We had to book this for our parents due to a power outage in the area. Everyone was so kind and helpful especially being full and probably the people working there were dealing with outages themselves but they stayed upbeat

Great hotel
We had a put my dinner leftovers on the fridge. The fridge ran a lot during the evening and morning. When i went to crab my leftover to pack to go home they were covered in water and ruined. The place was very clean. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was good. Check in/out was fast and friendly. Hotels com changed rewards and cheaped out

Was not the room I pd for. 3rd time I got the room I pd for. I never had an issue booking through 3 rd party. Receptionist try to tell me I got what book and I had to show her the reservation on my phone to prove it. She try to tell me 3rd party booking isn’t always what they say. I travel a lot through 3rd party never had an issue till now

Finger Lakes Trip
My husband and I come up to the Finger lakes every year in November. We stay at Microtel in Penn Yan all the time. It centrally located close to Kueka lake wineries and Seneca Lake wineries. Check in is quick and the staff is very friendly The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Price is reasonable Restaurants in walking distance I would highly recommend this hotel

Very nice quiet room but breakfast needs work
The price/night was very high, but it was comparable to the other Penn Yan hotels, so I paid it. I will shop around more next time though. The main thing I noticed that needs improvement was the breakfast area and the breakfast. The breakfast area is set up in a way that puts everyone in each other's way. The coffee service needs to be off on it's own. People needing hot water for oatmeal or tea should not be blocking the people who want coffee. You can't even get a coffee cup if someone is already getting coffee or hot water. The oatmeal was hidden in a drawer, and once I found the oatmeal, I then needed to hunt around for the bowls. There were no nuts or berries or brown sugar to put in the oatmeal. There were no eggs or potatoes or hashbrowns. The first morning there was no fruit. I skipped the breakfast on the second day because it was too sad. I just had coffee. I should mention that I do not eat gluten. Parking was also a challenge, but not much can be done about that.

we got in late and went right to sleep. when we woke up there were rose petals that had fallen out of the bed . they were obviously there from the people before us. i went down to the desk in the morning and they said they couldn’t do anything for us because we booked through Expedia. Offered nothing for having a dirty bed. the hotel otherwise was very nice.

Room was ok, but I had to wait at the front desk for 30 min for someone to check me in. Breakfast was not good. Worst we have seen in years. Room had no hand soap and none after asking for some. No glasses in room.

Very comfortable hotel. The room was very clean and modern. It was small but cozy, it has everything we needed it for our stay! It is centrally located so we had a lot of restaurants and shops to choose from. The staff was very friendly. The only little down side is the breakfast was a little poor, not much variety of things. I’ll recommend to add a little more salty things. Other than that, we had a great stay

What I do NOT LIKE, is the bill on my credit card is $145.36 and the receipt from The Penn Yan Microtel is $111.96. We stayed Wednesday night in the Microtel in Bath, NY. They would not print a receipt and said Expedia would send me a receipt. I have NOT received it. I am quite sure the amount charged to my credit card and amount from Microtel will not match. I also have a pending charge of $112.48. This should be taken off as we did not make purchases at either motel I am Happy with Microtel but certainly not happy with Expedia
