Highlights: • Super comfortable bed • Spacious bathroom • Beautiful Japanese garden inside the hotel • Excellent service — they even helped us book a local izakaya that only took phone reservations • Best breakfast of my 23-day trip in Japan, with options for Western tastes • Free shuttle to Kanazawa Station (a taxi costs about ¥1,500) • Great location: 3 min walk to Omicho Market and 10 min to Kanazawa Castle and Higashi Chaya • Outstanding value for money Note: As a foreign visitor, I think it’s important to be respectful of Japanese customs and social norms.
