« Lovely stay had by all. Domes were spacious and well equipped with comfy beds and all kids cons. Air con was brilliant! Shared outdoor kitchen had lots of space and was under cover and close to the domes. The pool was deep (circa 145cms and had a natural Tarzan swing which the kids loved. We had a great suggestion for a local tour from the manager and the cafe and the Italian themed shop was very convenient. Playa Órganos was just was a 5 min walk with a view to Tortuga. The monkey highway...

« We had such an amazing time here! In addition to the bioluminescence tour with Eddy (10 minute drive) and the beautiful Organos Beach (5 minute walk), we did a horseback tour at Curu Wildlife Refuge (30 minute drive) and rode the ferry (10 minute drive to terminal) back to Puntarenas when we were done. BUT the best part for us was that a troop of about 20 howler monkeys was in the area and, at one point, treated us to about an hour-long show foraging in the trees almost directly above our dome....

« J'ai beaucoup aimé l'endroit. C'est en pleine nature, on peut y voir beaucoup d'animaux. Les équipements sont un peu rustiques, mais ça donne un vibe plus authentique. J'ai bien aimé mon séjour à jaser avec Jim (le propriétaire), c'est un homme fascinant, il semble un peu rough, mais est une bonne personne. La route pour s'y rendre à partir de Montezuma est un chemin de terre, mais était en très bon état (janvier). Il y a de bons petits restaurants à 5-10 minutes a pied de l'hotel. »

« My family and I had a wonderful stay at Chalet Escondido. We saw many different types of wildlife such as the Coati, Walking Stick Bug, Bats, Giant Red-Winged Grasshopper and the Howler monkeys. We could hear and see the monkey daily during our stay. During our time here we did many day trips to various beaches. Our favorite was Playa Negra, not too busy and nice waves for families and renting surf boards. We also made it down to Nosara which we really liked as well. Overall a great place for...

There are many great food options around, and if you want to venture into Tamarindo it isn’t too far either. It was hard not to just sit on my balcony, and listen to the ocean in total bliss. "À la hauteur de mes attentes. Pour le prix, je ne pouvais demander mieux. La proximité de la plage, des restaurants et de tous les attraits de Tamarindo était parfait. Il faudra noter par compte qu’après une certaine heure, il n’y a pas de réception et l’enregistrement pour le check. In doit être fait avant. Par contre je mentionne que nous avons été chanceux il y avait toujours quelqu’un sur place lors de notre arrivée tardive."

"L'hébergement a besoin de rénovations. Le terrain de tennis est désuet. Les plats proposés sont répétitifs. Les activités offertes sur place sont ennuyantes. Des informations sur les marées et surtout sur leur dangerosité devraient être fournies de vive-voix. Les restaurants à la carte ne respectent pas leur thème (restaurant japonais qui propose du riz cantonais, décorations chinoises,etc... ). Dans les chambres, la climatisation fait un bruit d'enfer."
