Find a Bed and Breakfast in Portuguese Way

"Great location. Helpful staff. Quirky but fun old decor. We had a great view of the river off the back of the building. Great breakfast. Generally very nice stay. The room wasn't huge and the old-fashioned shower was a little odd but not a big deal. The only con we found was the door was not great at stopping the (limited) noise from the hall, but that was the same at most places we stayed in Portugal."

"It was walking distance to everything. We could have walked from the cruise port if we knew the area. Don’t get ripped off with a cab driver like we did who charged us $40 for a 5 minute cab ride. "

"Our room was great and the staff was very friendly! If you’re staying in the summer just be advised that we didn’t have AC access directly within our room but a fan was provided. The staff was welcoming and willing to hold our luggage until our room was ready. We opted for a private bathroom room which was in a separate building than the lobby. There’s no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. The room was close enough to the water to walk which was great and lots of food...

"We had a wonderful stay at the Republica Bed & Breakfast & Arts. Manuel greeted us and showed us around the facility . We needed some medical supplies and Manuel very kindly went with us to help secure them.The facility is open, clean ,breezy and very comfortable .Breakfast was tasty and Anna is a sweetie. Manuel gave us suggestions on places to eat and offered assistance on places to visit. ( although we had already got our trips set ) The B&B is in a great location with access to all...

"This was a one night stay and close to the bus station. Easy to find,.just inside the wall and very modern and clean inside. Room was nice, no frills, but comfortable, and quiet. The bed was super comfortable and big!! They stores our bags for us the next day after checkout too "

"This hotel is the perfect airport hotel, we arrived really late and greeted with wine and cake! Room was clean and comfortable and in the morning a basket of delicious breakfast! What a treat, highly recommend this place!!!"

"The location, size, staff and amenities were all excellent. Only negative was the shower, which was very impractical and the toilet area which was quite small and awkward. If you get up a night and forget about the step, it could be a hazard. Everything else was perfect. Would stay again, maybe try a different room with a better bathroom. "

"Clean and good sized apartment in a great, peaceful residential area. Close enough to walk most places with a decent selection of cafes and restaurants nearby, yet outside of the noise and constant foot traffic. Definitely recommend!"
