We loved our stay here. This unique hotel seamlessly combines historic charm with modern updates, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The attentive and hospitable staff enhance the experience and the location is great as well.
Lovely hotel, with boutique feel. We had a balcony with a view of Duomo. Hosts were wonderful- huge breakfast with lots of choice and knowledgeable about the location and town. Would recommend.
Absolutely loved our stay here. It's a former palace and the room was huge with a wonderful patio. They had a excellent breakfast, the staff was awesome (shout out to Martina and Paolo). Would stay again in a second. The city is very walkable and Martina and Paolo were incredibly helpful with restaurants and sights. We did not want to leave.
Excellent quality of the rooms and of the service provided by the impeccable staff. A pity that there was a fair bit of street noise overnight (e.g. garbage tracks operating for several minutes) that could not be fully insulated by the windows.
We loved staying at this amazing palace and welcomed by the amazing staff Sergio and Roger and the amazing owner Paolo who walked us though the whole experience and history of this magnificent building. Try it and enjoy the experience of this beauty and the great neighborhood and what this city offers. Thank you all
Wonderful stay. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Our host helped us find dinner and explained everything about the city of Pavia.
Breakfast was excellent, and everything tasted wonderfully fresh.
Pavia was refreshing in that it wasn't at all touristy.
Beautiful facility, excellent and very available staff with personalized touch. It's one of the most expensive hotels in Pavia but hey it's in a palazzo with a massive courtyard covered by a dome and has deep soaking tubs and daily housekeeping. Also a great location and wonderful breakfast. Get the aperitivo on the balcony one evening before you go out to dinner!
L'entrata dell'hotel e' molto atipica. Deludente come entrata.
Breakfast room and terrasse was not available on day 2 and the floor was taken over by a crew working on a TV program. We were also woken up by the noise they made. The managers knew and did not inform us before our trip nor offered a discount on our second night for the inconvenience caused. Unacceptable considering the price we paid for the room.
