I would have given it a higher rating- had we not a dozen large dead palmetto bugs in the house upon arrival. Palmetto bugs are a species of roaches. I had to sweep the floors and dispose of the critters. And communication with the owner is only through a Vrbo message board which is not good. After telling the owner how we found the home & sending her pics - there was little concern or care. Only I’m sorry about the bugs. I’ve stayed at several places over the years and we always found the living space clean and welcoming with fruits, waters and sometimes personal notes upon arrival. Nice area and close to may nice shops, eateries, beaches nearby. But we will not be staying at this Inn. After paying nearly 695 for a 3 day/2 night stay - the owner at the very least could inspect the home before guests arrive to make sure it’s clean & no bugs in the floor - at the very least. Although we did not end up utilizing the beach chairs, floaty or umbrella, it was really nice that these items were on hand for our use if we’d needed them. The location was super convenient, but still felt private enough and was very quiet.
